A Pair of Louis XVI Ormolu Chenets. Circa 1770

In Gilded bronze with Putti seated in the act of playing a horn in front of which is a vase from which flames come out. On a shaped base with a beaded frame inset with a vase with flames and a child’s face at the base. On the long side a chiselled frame with leaf scrolls in the shape of a laurel wreath.
