Objets D'art
During the 18th century, Paris, where many of our objects originated from, became an international centre for a multiplicity of skilled craftsmen. They employed their talents in creating these highly decorative objects to meet the growing demand for luxury goods. This reflected the changes in French taste from the ancient régime to the Republic and continues to represent a great flowering of European civilisation.
