A Louis XVI Demi-Lune Commode A L'Anglais attributed to F Schey, Circa 1780
With Breche d’Alep marble top above a central frieze drawer, inlaid with arches above two trellis veneered drawers decorated sans-traverses; fitted with ring dropped handles and ribbon-tied key hole escutcheons, the curved mirrored-back sides with three shelves, each surmounted by a pierced gallery, on stripe veneered circular tapering legs.

The World of Interiors October 2003 p 244 illustrates an almost identical commode at the Castello di Masino home for centuries to the Valpergas family who claimed descent from Italy’s first King.
