With its spirally-fluted turned tapering legs, distinctive stretcher, lush garlands and central wreath, this table is very similar to a side table and pair of corner consoles en suite sold from the Alexander Collection at Christie’s, New York, 30 April 1999, lots 78 ($310,550) and 79 ($255,500), respectively.
