A George II Giltwood Side Table Attributed to Henry Flitcroft
Having a rectangular jasper-veneered top, the channeled frieze filled with confronting Vitruvian scrolls with an upper border of egg-and-dart and a lower ribbon-twist border and a lion-mask suspending a ring and with lion pelt scrolls, further pierced with two tails and with claws suspended from further rings, the channeled scrolled supports with pounced upper sections filled with triple husks above scrolling acanthus and foliate and gadrooned feet.
